A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.

What I heard from Jesus today is: How to tell whether you are a Christian?
There is no way to tell whether you are a Christian because it is not something outward but something inward. Just like how Paul explained the use of circumcision is not a sign on human body but of the heart. From Romans 1: 18 - 32 is about the sins of the gentiles and chapter 2 is talking about the Jews were the same as the gentiles for they were also in sin. They liked to judge other people, and they were full of stubbornness, unrepentant hearts, self-seeking, reject the truth, follow evil, did all those sins that they told others not to commit.

Dear Holy Spirit,
Convict us of our sins and help us to repent that we can change inwardly to be a true Christian. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
