Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9: 6-7

What I heard from Jesus today is: Do your best in giving!

There are more teaching on giving in this chapter. But I don't think you would care to read much if you are not a cheerful giver. So, let me give you a challenge today: Are you a cheerful giver?

Here are some of the main points in this chapter:
1. Giving is to support God's servants. (v.1)
2. Base on your eagerness to help God's servants and work. (v. 2)
3. Your enthusiasm will stir up others to give too. (v.2)
4. You need to be always ready and be prepared. (v. 3-4)
5. Give what you have promised. (v.5)
6. Needs to be a generous gift and not grudgingly given. (v. 5)
7. Whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, whoever sows generously will reap generously.(v.6)
8. Give what you are able to give and be a cheerful giver.(7)
9. God will increase your store and enlarge the harvest of your righteousness which means you will
be more Christlike. (v.10)
10. Other people will praise God for your obedience to give.(v. 13)

Well, if you are a cheerful giver then these ten points will help you to give more. If not, I don't think anything will happen in you after you read this post!

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you to be a cheerful giver!

Dear Lord Jesus,
We ask for your blessings that each one of us can become cheerful givers. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
