These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you. Titus 2: 15
What I heard from Jesus today is: When to encourage, when to rebuke?
Do you know when to encourage and when to rebuke? How many encouragements have you given to other people lately? Do you know what Paul is talking about here? Here are the three points Paul want to make:
1. You need to teach various groups of people how they live their lives.
2. If they can live out those good qualities, encourage them.
3. If they can't live out those good qualities, rebuke them.
So, do you know when to teach, when to encourage and when to rebuke.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know when to teach, when to encourage and when to rebuke. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
