When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau's heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them. Genesis 25: 24-26
What I received from Jesus today is: The birth of a new church - Emmanuel 330
This chapter talks about the birth of Isaac and Rebekah's twin. It talks about not even when they were born but they fought in their mothers womb to be the first to be born. It is such a pain that we as human beings always fight against each others. Why? Why? It is so unnecessary!
I have seen so many fights - husbands against wives, brothers against brothers, sisters against sisters, brothers against sisters, leaders against pastors, bishops against bishops ... Wow! Painful, dirty, nonsense!
Yesterday, ACiC/AI has another new church established - Emmanuel 330 Anglican Church. This church has been having Alpha Course and then simple worship style in Empress Chinese Seafood Restaurant since March this year every Wednesday 3:30p.m.. Yesterday was the time for our first harvest. I baptized four adults who are restaurant workers and one child. Each one of the baptized had a 5 to 10 minutes powerful testimony and a couple who attended this new church told us how God saved their marriage through this new church plant. Yesterday's baptism was like the coming of His Kingdom!
The birth of this new church is such a joy and I sincerely hope and pray that there will not be any fight in this church and that we will all be led by our Lord Jesus Christ to have a lifestyle of Christlikeness.
