Joseph turned away from them and began to weep, but then turned back and spoke to them again. Genesis 42: 24
What I received from Jesus today is: It's so painful to forgive!
How Joseph wept shows a lot of thing in Joseph's soul. For ordinary people that could be the time that they want to kill those who hurt them or at least give them the same pain they gave them. But, Joseph was not like that, he chose to forget even though it was very painful!
I do hope you can learn from Joseph that God can work through your willingness to forgive that more people can be changed.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to suffer the pain to forgive that we can be a channel of your peace and reconciliation. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
