"Now then, please let your servant remain here as my lord's slave in place of the boy, and let the boy return with his brothers. How can I go back to my father if the boy is not with me? No! Do not let me see the misery that would come upon my father." Genesis 44: 33-34
What I got from Jesus today is: Turn your heart to your love ones!
This chapter is a turning point to Joseph and his ten brothers who sold him many years ago. Jesus led me to see a turning of hearts in all of them. The ten brothers learned a hard and painful lesson that their hearts returned to their father. Joseph saw what was happening in the turning back of hearts of his ten brothers and his heart turning back to his ten brothers eventhough they tried to kill him many years ago. This is so beautiful, meaningful and powerful!
Jesus remind me of the last two verses in Old Testament: Malachi 4: 5-6.
"See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse." Malachi 4: 5-6
Satan's main attack is always on families. He tears apart all kind of relationship in a family, husbands and wives, parents and children, brothers and brothers, sisters and sisters!
Turn your heart to your love ones! Build relationship, don't break relationship!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to turn our hearts to you first so that we can turn to our love ones . In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
