"I am God, the God of your father," he said. "Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there. I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again. And Joseph's own hand will close your eyes." Genesis 46: 3-4
What I got from Jesus today is: Long time no see!
This is really what I received from Jesus just a minute ago! God said to Jacob, "Long time no see!" Do you remember how Jacob listened to God, had a personal intimate relationship with God and received instructions from God from Genesis 28 to 35. Then when Joseph disappeared everything changed. Jacob was "disconnected" with God until Genesis 45: 27, "the spirit of their father Jacob revived." If you watched Lord of the Ring, it was like the moment Gandalf hit the king with his staff and he was "revived" and could be a king again! Do you know you are a prince or a princess of God, are you performing your duty as a prince or a princess? Or are you in a deep spiritual sleep?
I knew someone whose son was killed in an accident and since then he was disconnected with Jesus until he was very old that I led him to Jesus Christ again! So, when are you being revived by the Lord or you are still in your "deep sleep" disconnected with Jesus?
Don't wait for Jesus to tell you, "Long time no see!" Come back to him right now! And, if you are already in Him then pray to the Lord for revealing to you those He has prepared for you to lead them to come back to Jesus. Tell them, "Jesus wants me to tell you, long time no see!"
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to come back to you and help others to come back to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
