You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

What I got from Jesus today is: Can't eat medium rare steak?!

When we read Old Testament passages we need to know there are three kinds of rules: Ethical, Ceremonial and Hygienic. For ethical rules it is a standard for all people and all ages. But, for ceremonial and hygienic are mostly for Israelites and lots of those we do not need to follow in this age. For example we do not follow all those complicated rules in our worship. Today's rule for not eating blood is consider to be under hygienic. In those days people did not have those scientific ways to cook food so eating blood would be very dangerous. Even today, eating blood is not recommended. If you ask whether you can eat medium rare steak or even tartar(raw) steak and the answer is yes.

The message for us today is that we need to know what are those things God does not want us to do and we need not to do it. Lots of those you can learn from the Bible and the most important thing is that the Holy Spirit will tell you what to do and not do if you have a close relationship with Jesus.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing not to do those things you do not want us to do and to have the courage to do those things you want us to do. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
