John Chapters 14-17 are known as the Farewell Discourse given by Jesus to eleven of His disciples immediately after the conclusion of the Last Supper in Jerusalem, the night before His crucifixion. Jesus was going away, and the disciples were anxious about where he would go and whether they would be able to follow Him. They were troubled and worried! It seems that there is no way out!
Lots of time in our lives when we feel that there is no way out, no matter we have used up all our money, all our resources, no job, no future, not anything, we would be troubled and worried. Are you troubled and worried recently?
What can you do in this situation? Can you find any answer from Jesus in this passage?
Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: No way out?
If you are in a state of no way out today, you have to give thanks to the Lord because you choose to read this blog and Jesus is going to give you a way out!
What is the way out for us when there is no way out? Very simple:
1. Jesus is the way
Jesus is not only the person pointing the way out to you or giving you a way out. He is the way and in Him you are in the way out!!! Wow! Is that wonderful. So, the question and invitation from Jesus now is, "How can you be in me?"
2. Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Jesus
That's how Jesus can say what the Father wants Him to say and do what the Father wants Him to do. So, from Yesterday's message of following Jesus example so that we can love one another, we have the same way to live each day. Everyday make sure that we spend time with Jesus through our daily devotion and keep that intimate personal relationship for the whole day until you have your go to bed prayer. Then, each day you are just like what Jesus did two thousand years ago, He was in the Father and the Father was in Him!
That is the only way to have a way out when there is no way out. That is the best way to experience miracles especially when you have no way out. Because the end of human effort could be the beginning of God's work! Got it?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to stay with you each day that we are in you, in the Way and that we will never experience we have no way out. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
