The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Bible Study

Today's passage gives us a very interesting touch on how cruel this world can be. Because of the accusation of Jesus, two bad guys could be reconciled!

     N.T. Wright says:
There is a wonderful irony to the newfound friendship of the Jewish king and the Gentile ruler.  Luke's whole book has spoken of the gospel reaching out into the lands beyond, beyond official Judaism, beyond the racial and geographical boundaries of Israel, beyond prejudice and blindness, bringing together Jew and Gentile, young and old, the hated Samaritan, the tax-collector.  Now, even without believing in Jesus, Herod and Pilate are reconciled.  It is as though, with Jesus on the way to the cross, reconciliation cannot help breaking out all over the place.
There is, of course, no real comparison between the shady deal struck between the petty princeling and the scheming governor, and the rich fellowship in the gospel enjoyed by Jewish and Gentile believers. But Luke is alert, and wants us to be too, for every sign that the world is becoming a new place through Jesus and his crucifixion.  If even Herod and Pilate can become friends through this, he says to both his church and ours, think how you too could be reconciled with anyone at all, once you both come under the shadow of the cross.

This is such an irony but a reality that how we as servants of God can face with this kind of "reconciled" joint force attack by bad guys! What an honour to take up our cross for Jesus!

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: Two bad guys reconciled!

Today Jesus gives us a warning of what is about to come to us as God's servants. We could face the same kind of joint force attack by bad guys and we do not have a way to get away from those attack but to suffer the pain.

I still remember two months ago when I was at this year's AMiA Winter Conference, I had a profound conversation with the retired bishop of Rwanda and Dean of the House of Bishops, Bishop Jeffrey. I said, "Bishop Jeffrey, we the AMiA is being described as the bad boys destroying the unity of the North American Anglican joint force. What do you think?" He said, "No, we are the bad boys, because of power and pride, we hurt you guys badly!" Then I said, "Is there any way to reconcile this hurt?" He said, "One word- fruit!"

For the past 15 months, we have faced a joint force attack by our own allied pulling us to the darkest pit. Some top leaders even want to wipe out the name of AMiA from the face of this earth. But, we are going to have fruit, much fruit! Our fruit will prove that we are faithful and anointed disciples of Christ!

If you have been hurt by some kind of joint force attack by bad guys, don't worry, in God's time vindication will come! But, you need to bear fruit, much fruit!

Dear Lord Jesus,
When we face with the joint force to pull us to the darkest pit, lead us to walk with you that in your light we know that we will soon prevail. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
