 Bible Study
      Paul tells us about how he listens and obeys to what Jesus commands him to do as a pioneer and missionary of Jesus. There is something we need to learn from this passage. How Paul made each steps towards fulfilling Jesus' purpose and his dreams. He mentioned about his plan to go to Spain and because of that he wrote the book of Romans.

Bishop N.T. Wright's says ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright ) :
     Did Paul ever get to Spain?  There is no evidence whatever that he did.  But his desire to do so, and the fact that he wrote Romans as part of the preparation for such a trip, points out an extremely important lesson for us all.  Perhaps God sometimes allows us to dream dreams of what he wants us to do, not necessarily so that we can fulfil all of them - that might just make us proud and self-satisfied - but so that we will take the first steps towards fulfilling them.

    What I heard from Jesus today is: Take the first steps towards fulfilling your dreams

   What I got from Jesus today is a reminder of how many times I experienced to take the first steps towards fulfilling my dreams for Jesus. You take the first steps and then Jesus will have a way to work through your faithfulness for His Kingdom plan.

    Why don't you close your eyes and let the Holy Spirit to lead you remember all those "first step" moments?  You did not know what it would happen but you took the first step or steps. Then, you knew how wonderfully Jesus took those steps to do something wonderful.

    Just like Paul did not go to Spain, Jesus commanded me to plant a church in San Francisco in 2007. Rev. Dr. Philip Tse and I spent 1 1/2 years but the project failed. Then, because of our willingness to take the first steps, Toronto Emmanuel Church started in 2008 and now they are having a vibrant church with a 150 million dollars Vintage Garden Community Church and Senior Home project. Because of that first steps I became a Network Leader in 2008 and a bishop in 2009. Two church plants in 2011: For All Nations and Emmanuel 330. 

    Praise the Lord to give me a chance to take the first steps and give thanks to the Lord to walk with me in a very special way after that first steps. Somewhat like Paul, he did not go to Spain, I went to San Francisco but could not stay. Something wonderful happened after we took the first steps for Jesus. And, something wonderful will happen after we take the first steps for Jesus.

     Are you willing to take your first steps now to fulfill your dreams for Jesus? 

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be willing to take our first steps to fulfill our dreams for you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
