Bible Study

Paul continue to take his readers to a climax of why he and all disciples of Jesus are so crazy loving Jesus and willing to do anything for Jesus, even death.

Bishop N.T. Wright says ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright ) :

Verse 17, one of his great summaries of what Christianity is all about. In the Greek language he was using, he said it even more briefly: 'If anyone in Messiah, new creation!' The 'new creation' in question refers both to the person concerned and to the world which they enter, the world which has now been reconciled to the creator…

This new world has a new king, and the king has ambassadors. ..Paul is going into all the world with a message from its newly enthroned sovereign, a message inviting anyone and everyone to be reconciled to the God who made them, loves them, and has provided the means of reconciliation for them to come back to know and love him in return.

That's why Paul could do that for Jesus! He is an ambassador delivering the new message to all coming back home to the new Kingdom. Reconciled, and we can be back home with our new King!

What I heard from Jesus today is: Do you know you are an ambassador for Jesus?

What I got from Jesus today is a question that most people would answer NO. Most people do not know, don't want to know or unwilling to do this impossible job as an ambassador for Jesus.

How about you? Who is your King? Is Jesus really your King? Can you give me one example of how you obey your King's order recently?

Remember, you are an ambassador for Jesus! Do it well!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Lead us to have the anointing and courage to be your ambassador so that we can bring more people to be reconciled with you and enter into your new and mighty Kingdom. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
