Silence

1.   Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2.   Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace. Exhale your worries.

Praise and Thanksgiving

1.   Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2.   Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
3.   Open your heart to praise the Lord

The Mighty One, God the Lord,
                          speaks and summons the earth
from the rising of the sun to its setting.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty,
                 God shines forth.
                             Psalm 50:1

Confession and repentance

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The Word (Exodus 36:7-39:43)

English(ESV): https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+39&version=ESV

According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work. 43 And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as theLord had commanded, so had they done it. Then Moses blessed them.
                                              Exodus 39:42-43

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
These few chapters is a detailed description of how the Israelites did all the work to build the Tabernacle according to what God commanded Moses to do. In chapter 39, we can find nine repeated sentences "as the Lord commanded Moses". Nine time!

Doing God's work is so simple, you trust the leader God appointed and do as you are being told.

Today I experienced a similar feeling and situation as Moses experienced. Today is the first day to welcome our new owners of the First Phase of Toronto Vintage Garden. From today to this coming Friday, we will give the keys to all the new owners and they will start move in to this miraculous God-size project. I praise the Lord for what He has done through just the vision of one person, Dr. S.K. Lee, Chairman of the Vintage Garden Board and a very small Board of Directors, just seven people. For the past two years, we have been praying together weekly on Wednesday 10p.m. Toronto time through Skype, five directors in Toronto and two directors in Vancouver. For the past seven years as one of the directors I have learnt a lot. Trust, faith, patience, courage, prayer, fasting and do just as the Lord commanded His anointed leaders.

Praise the Lord that we have completed the first phase of this 150 million dollars community church, senior condos project. Owners of this 185 units First Phase will move in starting today. What a glorious day! God sends me here to bless all the new residents and to talk to them as they will be gathering together in our reception room waiting to get their keys these few days.

When I read today's passage, I don't think this is a co-incidence. I am sure that God is using this time to say to all who have taken part in this project saying, "Well done, good and faithful servants!"

May I share with you some of the photos I took yesterday(April 20) for you to give thanks to the Lord and pray for us. You can also see the frame of the Parish Hall of our Toronto Emmanuel Church is also near completion, two years earlier than our original plan!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be willing to do as you command our Moses. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:
1.  Do you know who is the Moses God appointed for you to follow?

2.  Are you willing to do as the Lord commanded your Moses?

Praise and Thanksgiving
Let's give thanks for God with us. Let us praise Him:
