DAY 3 (2018) - Have God's Favor , Not Losing His Favor (Please click here for English podcast)

Silence

1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence

2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

Praise and Thanksgiving

1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile

2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening

The message I got today from our Lord Jesus Christ is "Find favor, not lose favor".

Usually I copied two to at most four pages every morning when we have Time with Abba from 6am to 7am. But, today I wrote seven pages!

It is so clear in today's Genesis that human beings lost God's favor because God "saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time" (Genesis 6:5) God only found favor in Noah!

Well, it is somewhat like that nowadays in this world even after almost five thousand years and human beings are still the same, unable to pull ourselves from all kinds of sins!

That's how today's Proverbs shows us how sinful human beings can be.

That's how in today's Matthew shows us how John the Baptist called the leaders of the Jews to truly repent so that they could bear fruit.

That's how Satan wanted to pull Jesus to sin losing God's favor!

That's how today's Psalm reminds me of our sonship that our Abba would like to bless us, protect us and give us victory. That is such a tremendous blessing that we find favor in the eyes of the Lord as Noah did.

Do you know how to have that favor from God?

So simple and yet so impossible for so many people! "Noah did everything just as God commanded him." Genesis 6:22. "Noah did all that the Lord commanded him." Genesis 7:5

Do everything as God command, that's the only way for God to have God's favor on you!

Can you have the ability to listen to God's command?

Are you willing to obey God's command?

Dear Abba Father,

Help us to be able to listen to your command and to obey your command so that we have your favor on us and not losing your favor on us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
