The message I got today from our Lord Jesus Christ is: "Are you on God's side and under His protection? "
Today we seems to have the second part of yesterday's message:
We can see in today's 2 Samuel 17: 14-16 that God's protection to David is miraculous. "For the Lord had determined to frustrate the good advice of Ahithophel in order to bring disaster on Absalom."
It all started with David going up to Mount of Olives to pray and said, "Lord, turn Ahithophel's counsel into foolishness."
Today I used yesterday's podcast to have daily devotion with two brothers. One of them got a message from our Lord Jesus Christ and it was just three words, three very important words to him: Mount of Olives.
He has all kinds of reasons not going to church or any church events for almost two years and he is in a very poor physical as well as spiritual condition.
He shared with us that what Jesus wants to use "Mount of Olives" as the only thing he heard is to remind him to go back to the Mount of Olives which is his church, our church, Richmond Emmanuel Church to worship and other events. He will join our first Alpha Course session starting tomorrow to have a renewal of his relationship with Jesus. I sincerely hope that he won't have more excuses not to come this time. Please pray for this brother that he is willing to go up to the Mount of Olives like David and Jesus and that God will answer his prayers!
Yes, we need to be on God's side so that we are under His protection.

Yes, God has been on our side to protect us. But, the question is:
Are you on God's side and in His protection?
