Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Reflect on these questions:
2. How could today's message help you not to seek those perishable things but to offer more non-perishable spiritual sacrifices? Do you know what are the non-perishable spiritual sacrifices. (You can find the answer in today's Psalm 128:1-6, Ezekiel 45:13-46:24)
My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: "Our special possession forbids us to be God's special possession!"
Have you ever thought that you are God's special possession?
1 Peter 2:9:
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s
special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called
you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
Yes, we are God's special possession!
The sad thing is that, just like what 1 Peter 1:18 says:
"For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors"

Lots of time what we seek are those "perishable things" and not what 1 Peter 2:5 says "spiritual sacrifices":
" you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.'
The sad and foolish thing human beings have been doing is to seek for "perishable things" all the way and forget the most important things is "spiritual sacrifices" that's "non-perishable" possession!
This foolishness not only forbids us to be God's possession, also it forbids us to receive God's promise from today's Psalm 128:1, that is one of my most favourite golden Bible verse:
Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know that we are your special possession and that our own possession forbids us to become your "special possession". In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
1. Are you seeking for your own possessions that you cannot or
unwilling to become God's possession?
unwilling to become God's possession?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
