Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned. Hebrews 6: 7-8

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary

behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.

Hebrews 6: 19-20



What I heard from Jesus today is: Anchored and productive please!

Today Jesus gave me a vivid and wonderful picture. I saw Him waved to us and said, "Come on, follow me! I'll lead you to enter the inner sanctuary." Then I saw him used His left hand to move the curtain which was purple in color and walked in waving with His right hand to us, "Come on, follow me. Don't be afraid. Be encouraged! Come on!" Then I entered into the inner sanctuary now. Still in the kitchen of my home(came back last night from Toronto) early in the morning at 7: 25a.m., but I entered into the inner sanctuary with Jesus listening to His Word and singing praises to Him! Thank you Lord!

This chapter links with the first verse of Chapter 2 of the warning of drifting away like a ship. Chapter 5 talks about warning of the danger of remaining spiritually immature and this chapter is the warning of the danger of falling away from Christ.

The warning was about the falling away from faith and forfeiting spiritual salvation as the consequences of apostasy. Not following Jesus but to follow those people who were spiritual rebellion against the Truth.

The author gives an example as a piece of land that we need to be productive. But, being productive won't happen unless we follow Jesus into the inner sanctuary daily and to be anchored in Him. Like an anchor that holds a ship safely we need to anchored in Him. While a ship's anchor goes down into the depths of the sea, our anchors go up into the heights of heaven, into the inner sanctuary behind the curtain and that we can praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit with the angels and archangels daily.

Anchored and productive please!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to follow you daily into the inner sanctuary and to be anchored in you. In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

I have a lot more to say about this, but it is hard to get it across to you since you've picked up this bad habit of not listening. By this time you ought to be teachers yourselves, yet here I find you need someone to sit down with you and go over the basics on God again, starting from square one—baby's milk, when you should have been on solid food long ago! Milk is for beginners, inexperienced in God's ways; solid food is for the mature, who have some practice in telling right from wrong. Hebrews 5: 11-14



What I heard from Jesus today is: Spiritually immature? An infant?

How long have you been a Christian? Are you still spiritually immature, an infant, still drinking milk? Or, are you a mature disciple of Christ, mature and is now having solid food? Each one of Jesus disciple should be able to teach others and you need to know you can do that. Why not start with being a Discipler 123? How? Very simple. Pray until Jesus gives you to see faces of two to three friends and invite them to gather together once a week for three months having daily devotion together using this blog that day when you meet. And encourage them to use this blog to have their daily devotion. We are going to launch our second wave of Discipler 123 starting this coming Sunday, from October to December. We add in the LTG(Life Transformation Group)card written and designed by Neil Cole, the author of Organic Church. If you want to get enough copies of the card you can get them in all ACiC/AI churches or give an email to me with your address and I can mail that to you. From Chapter one to chapter three, the author of Hebrews wants to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus is greater than angels, Moses and Joshua. And from 4: 14 to 10: 18 that Jesus Christ is our great High Priest, far surpasses the Old Testament Priesthood and they need to understand and know that. But, there wanted to stay to be an infant and did not know this basic teaching. You need to be a mature disciple of Christ, you need to be able to eat solid food, you need to be able to teach other. Come, join us to be a Discipler 123 to be spiritually mature please! Don't drink milk only but solid food please!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to have solid food and not stay to be an infant . In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.

12 For the word of God is living and active. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,[e] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4: 8-16



What I heard from Jesus today is: In God's Word we rest in Jesus!

The author of Hebrews wanted to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus is greater than angels, Moses and Joshua. Here in this chapter we have a chance to receive perhaps one of the most important messages concerning with our daily life:
1. Make every effort to enter that rest so that we won't follow those examples of disobedience.(v. 11)
2. That rest is in God's Word. (v. 12)
3. In God's Word we rest in Jesus that we can receive His help in our time of need.(v. 16)

Let's read or listen to these few verses carefully to know the secret of entering into this rest. You need to know that should be a real daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus through reading or listening to the Bible, His Word. No other way my dear brothers and sisters.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to enter into that rest that we can rest in you through your Word. In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. Hebrews 3: 3


What I heard from Jesus today is: You are the builder, I am the house!

What would happen if the house does not let the builder to build? There is no house!

As the author of Hebrews wants to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus is greater than Moses, he gives us this picture of the builder and the house. The reality is that we as human beings always harden our hearts like those people in Moses time. We are not willing to let the builder to build the house!

Come Lord Jesus, you are the builder, I am the house. Come, move me, shape me, build me!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Come and be my builder to build your house. In Jesus name we pray.Amen.
