I have a lot more to say about this, but it is hard to get it across to you since you've picked up this bad habit of not listening. By this time you ought to be teachers yourselves, yet here I find you need someone to sit down with you and go over the basics on God again, starting from square one—baby's milk, when you should have been on solid food long ago! Milk is for beginners, inexperienced in God's ways; solid food is for the mature, who have some practice in telling right from wrong. Hebrews 5: 11-14
What I heard from Jesus today is: Spiritually immature? An infant?
How long have you been a Christian? Are you still spiritually immature, an infant, still drinking milk? Or, are you a mature disciple of Christ, mature and is now having solid food? Each one of Jesus disciple should be able to teach others and you need to know you can do that. Why not start with being a Discipler 123? How? Very simple. Pray until Jesus gives you to see faces of two to three friends and invite them to gather together once a week for three months having daily devotion together using this blog that day when you meet. And encourage them to use this blog to have their daily devotion. We are going to launch our second wave of Discipler 123 starting this coming Sunday, from October to December. We add in the LTG(Life Transformation Group)card written and designed by Neil Cole, the author of Organic Church. If you want to get enough copies of the card you can get them in all ACiC/AI churches or give an email to me with your address and I can mail that to you. From Chapter one to chapter three, the author of Hebrews wants to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus is greater than angels, Moses and Joshua. And from 4: 14 to 10: 18 that Jesus Christ is our great High Priest, far surpasses the Old Testament Priesthood and they need to understand and know that. But, there wanted to stay to be an infant and did not know this basic teaching. You need to be a mature disciple of Christ, you need to be able to eat solid food, you need to be able to teach other. Come, join us to be a Discipler 123 to be spiritually mature please! Don't drink milk only but solid food please!

Help us to be able to have solid food and not stay to be an infant . In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.
12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,[e] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4: 8-16
What I heard from Jesus today is: In God's Word we rest in Jesus!
The author of Hebrews wanted to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus is greater than angels, Moses and Joshua. Here in this chapter we have a chance to receive perhaps one of the most important messages concerning with our daily life:
1. Make every effort to enter that rest so that we won't follow those examples of disobedience.(v. 11)
2. That rest is in God's Word. (v. 12)
3. In God's Word we rest in Jesus that we can receive His help in our time of need.(v. 16)
Let's read or listen to these few verses carefully to know the secret of entering into this rest. You need to know that should be a real daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus through reading or listening to the Bible, His Word. No other way my dear brothers and sisters.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to enter into that rest that we can rest in you through your Word. In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. Hebrews 3: 3
What I heard from Jesus today is: You are the builder, I am the house!
What would happen if the house does not let the builder to build? There is no house!
As the author of Hebrews wants to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus is greater than Moses, he gives us this picture of the builder and the house. The reality is that we as human beings always harden our hearts like those people in Moses time. We are not willing to let the builder to build the house!
Come Lord Jesus, you are the builder, I am the house. Come, move me, shape me, build me!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Come and be my builder to build your house. In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. Hebrews 2: 1
What I heard from Jesus today is: Don't drift away!
Jesus asked us a very important question today, "What number I am in your life?" You might have "job, wife/husband, children, health, church, TV, computer, car, workout, food, music, sports, clothes, money, fame", then Jesus is No. 16 in your life. The word for "drift away" in Greek implies of a ship drifting past a safe harbor and becoming shipwrecked. We are so easily drift away from Jesus to our more important priorities and got shipwrecked!
You know that Jesus is No. 1 and should be No. 1, but is He really your No. 1? How much time you spend dating with Jesus everyday? How much time you spend to honor Him and do His Kingdom ministry everyday? Is Jesus really No. 1?
Pay more careful attention to Jesus day after day please! Don't drift away!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me not to drift away but to pay more careful attention to you day after day. In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Hebrews 1: 4
What I heard from Jesus today is: Jesus is the No. 1!
We, as human beings, always want to be at the top, we want to be No. 1. So many people want to buy No. 1 house, No. 1 car, No.1 name brand clothes, No. 1 .... When kings in the history of mankind wanted to be No. 1 wars came and many people died just for someone wanted to be No. 1.
Jesus is the No. 1, superior than prophets (vv. 1-3) and superior to all the angels( 1: 4 - 2: 18), superior to Moses(3: 1-6), superior to Joshua (4: 1-13). The author of Hebrews was trying to tell the Jewish Christians that Jesus was the No. 1 superior than anyone they believed who could save them from the persecution and discouragement that they were facing.
So, how can Jesus help you in your life journey when you know and experience that He is the real No. 1?
Oh, praise the Lord that I just had a wonderful leap of joy experience when I chose todays four praise songs and when I played those songs to praise the Lord. My soul is being uplifted in a wonderful, wonderful way now. Full of joy, really want to jump up in this hotel room in Toronto and praise the Lord. Yes, Lord Jesus, you are No. 1, YEAH!
And, just a minute ago when I was listening to the audio Bible of Hebrew 1 trying to prepare myself before reading this chapter in my English podcast Jesus explained why I was so joyful. Wonderful! He said I was experiencing verse 9, "Anointing you with the oil of joy." He said to me now, "All those who are willing to follow Jesus who is the No. 1 will be anointed by the oil of joy!" YEAH! I am now smiling, laughing, crying in tears and praise the Lord, YEAH! Leap of joy!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me not to seek for any other No. 1 than you. Your are my Lord, my Savior, my King and my No. 1. In Jesus name we pray.Amen.

What I heard from Jesus today is: Forgive, accept, welcome back!
If you have someone hurting you, betraying you and deserting you, do you think you can forgive him, accept him and welcome him back to you as your friend? It would be very, very difficult!
That is what Paul would like to teach us about today. He wrote to Philemon, a slave owner and church member at Colosse whom Paul had led to faith in Christ, to deal with his runaway slave, Onesimus. According to Roman law, a runaway slave could be punished by death. Paul pleads on Onesimus' behalf and asks Philemon to graciously receive Onesimus back as a fellow Christian. He asks Philemon to treat Onesimus with the same love and consideration he would have to Paul himself.
This seems a "mission impossible" for everyone. If you have someone hurting you like that, can you forgive, accept and welcome him back to your heart? I think Jesus is pleading you to do so now!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to forgive, accept and welcome back because of your love. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
