What I heard from Jesus today is: What is the devil's trap?
Paul talks about the qualification of a bishop and a deacon. The qualification is not about how well they are educated but their personal character. Paul mentions two times about the devil when he talks about the quality of a bishop. After all those practical character he talks about the devil's trap. Why? What I got from Jesus today is this is in two folds. The first one is to warn each one of the bishop including me of how important our Character and our family is. I heard from my son Iggy today when we had lunch about a young people replying her mom the reason why she does not want to go to church. She sees too many fake Christians and she doesn't want to be one of them. The devil's trap is for the top leaders, the bishops, to fall into various kind of traps. The devil always plans to destroy top Christian leaders because when they fall their whole church will fall.
Please pray for your bishop, priests, deacons, pastors and leaders that they are not going to fall into the devil's trap and that Jesus body, the church, will be built up and multiply rather than in disgrace and being destroyed.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know the devil's trap and to be willing to pray for our leaders. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
