Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God mature and fully assured. Colossians 3: 5-10

What I heard from Jesus today is: Join the prayer team please!

What I've got from Jesus today is to open my eyes to see a vision of many of His servants praying for the churches of Colosse, Laodicea and Hierapolis. None of them knew there would be a huge earthquake killing most of the people in these three cities in two years time. They just like millions and millions of God's servant understood and experienced the power and importance of prayers always wrestling in prayer for those they prayed for. The purpose is very simple and essential(v. 12):

1. They can stand firm in all the will of God.

What they would have been think during and after the earthquake? If they died in the earthquake, then they were prepared and were in heaven. But if they survived, would they challenged God for why He allowed that?

2. Mature

3. Fully assured

This leads me to think of the hymn Blessed Assurance!

Please count all those names (there are 11 names) in this chapter and they were all in this prayer team of Christlikeness.

Join us please!!!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to try all our best to join this prayer team of Christlikeness. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
