Please click this link to read Luke 22:

Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.
Luke 22: 3

"Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." Luke 22: 31-32

What I received from Jesus today is: Are you Judas or Peter?

How do you know you are a Judas or Peter? Do you think you can become a Judas? You must be thinking now, "No, you are joking. I'll never be a Judas."

This chapter gives us a clue of how we can become a Judas and how can we get out of Judas path and become a Peter:
1. Do not allow Satan to enter your heart.
2. What does it mean not to allow Satan to enter your heart? Turn back to Jesus and strengthen your brothers and sisters.
3. Jesus says, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10) Are you doing some kind of work to steal away trust, to kill some relationships and to destroy God's work? If so, then you are walking on a Judas path. If you are trying all your best to encourage, strengthen and help others to have life to the full then you are on a Peter's path.

Wake up Judas, turn back and become a Peter!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to become a Judas but a Peter following you with everything we've got . In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Please click this link to read Luke 21:

"Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Mn coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
Luke 21: 26-28

What I received from Jesus today is: Stand up or faint out when the end is approaching?

The test of whether you have a real daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus is when you are at the end of your life or similar situation. No matter that is the time that you think is the end of the earth, earthquake, your doctor tells you that you have only three months to live, your husband has another woman, you are facing bankruptcy ... I was reading today's newspaper and there are four cases of committing suicide just in one newspaper.

When people choose to take their own lives, lose all kinds of hope or even faint out when facing crisis but not stand up and lift up our heads to look forward to our redemption to draw near?

You are going to be tested in those kind of situations one day and if you do not have a real daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus you will faint out from that kind of terror!

Let sing this song together "I am the God that healeth thee" that we need to have a 100% trust in God who loves us!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to have a real daily intimate personal relationship with you that we can stand up and lift up our heads to look for your coming in the most difficult moment of our lives . In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Remember, what you have is not yours. We are only stewards and farmers! Be a good steward and farmer!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be a good steward and farmer. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

What I got are two situations:

1. You are the lost: If you are the lost then don't worry, Jesus is trying all His best to find you. Let yourself be found by him just like what Zacchaeus did. Say a simple prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I am lost. Help me please!" If you pray like that you would be found by Him.

2. You need to seek the lost: Jesus "major role" is to seek and save the lost. Our job is to try our best to seek the lost, bring them to Jesus and ask Jesus to save them. When was the last time you seek the lost? Why so long?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to try our best to find the lost. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Please click this link to read Luke 18:
"Lord, I want to see," he replied. Jesus said to him. "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God. " Luke 18: 41-43

What I received from Jesus today is: I want to see!

This chapter is full of examples of those who could not see the thing God wanted them to see:
1. Could not see hope and give up to pray. (vv. 1 - 8)
2. Could not see their pride and self-righteousness. (vv. 9 - 14)
3. Could not see we need to be like a little child to come close to God. (vv. 13-17)
4. Could not see the thing blocking him to follow Jesus was the possession he did not want to give up.
5. Could not see and understand those things Jesus told them. (vv. 31-34)

Do you want to see? If you want to see you need just to pray to Jesus like the blind beggar and ask Jesus now, "Lord Jesus, I want to see!" You will surely know the difference when you really pray. Your "eye" will be opened and that you can see more and more clearly what Jesus wants you to see.

Dear Lord Jesus,
We want to see. Help us Lord Jesus! In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

What I received from Jesus today is: The kingdom of God is within you!

What do people see in you? Can people see the kingdom of God within you? Can people see a true example of lifestyle of Christlikeness within you? Who have you become? A worldly somewhat Christian or a faithful disciple of Christ?

And when the kingdom of God finally comes and if the kingdom of God is not within you, I think you would be in big, big trouble!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know the kingdom of God is within us and live out a lifestyle that the kingdom of God is really within us. Help us Lord Jesus! In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Please click this link to read Luke 16:
Jesus said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight. Luke 16: 15

What I received from Jesus today is: Men highly valued, God detested!

It's all about how we use our money and our lifestyle in our earthly life! See how Jesus talked about the dishonest steward and the rich man in hell.

It's all about how the steward wasting the owner's possessions. Are we wasting God's possessions like the dishonest steward? Are you spending what you have "wisely" so that you will not be accused by God at the end of your earthly life of wasting His possessions?

Do you like the rich man always dress in the most expensive clothes and live luxury every day? And you ignore the need of those people like Lazarus and keep your money only to your own spending?

This is a "reality" check of our lifestyle and how we use our money. If you got what the Holy Spirit is doing now in your life then your lifestyle and the way you spend your money will be changed forever starting today. If nothing changed after you read this post then you got to be very careful because one day you will be accountable to how you use what you got from the Lord. Remember, everything we have is from the Lord. We have nothing if the Lord does not give us something!

Money and lifestyle is the challenge for you today! Jesus challenged my way of spending money and lifestyle today and I've got a lot to change starting today!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to change our way of money spending and lifestyle and be transformed into your likeness. We know that we need to live a lifestyle of Christlikeness but we are weak to do so. Help us Lord Jesus! In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**Sorry that I can't publish this blog at 1:21a.m. but 8:50a.m.. You need to pray for me once you can't see my daily post at 1:21a.m.. There are only two reasons: 1. I am "deadly" tired and cannot do anything. 2. The internet got a problem.

I couldn't do that two days ago on Sunday because I had been working from 8a.m. to 1a.m. , 17 hours strict last Sunday because of our 15th Anniversary Concert at Chan's Centre. Yesterday I couldn't do it because I was working 13 hours strict with AGM at night and going to the airport to pick up Rev. Dr. Terry Walling and went home at mid-night.

Please click this link to read Luke 15:
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear Jesus. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them." Luke 15: 1-2

"Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. Luke 15: 7

But he was angry and refused to go in. Luke 15: 28

What I received from Jesus today is: Repentance not grumbling, acceptance not rejection.

We see the grumbling of those Pharisees and scribes and their no need of repentance. We see the rejection of the elder son. We also see the joy of receiving sinners who repents in all three parables and the love of the father.

Which side are you in? Grumbling, no repentance and rejection? Or, to repent, to love and to accept?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us never grumble but to experience the power of repentance and acceptance. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

"But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." Luke 14: 13-14

"But they all alike began to make excuses." Luke 14: 18

"In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple." Luke 14: 33

"And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple."
Luke 14: 27

What I received from Jesus today is wonderful:
1. The Reward of Discipleship: No Reward
The World View of doing something is what kind of reward I will get when I do this thing. The Kingdom View of doing something is intentionally not getting any reward but just GIVE.

2. The Mandate of Discipleship: No Excuse
When you are being invited to God's prepared banquet, don't make any excuse. What are God prepared banquets, let me give some simple examples using Richmond Emmanuel Church. Sunday worship, 15th anniversary thanksgiving concert yesterday at Chan's Centre, prayer meeting every Saturday at 9a.m., Summer Camp this July 1-3, special monthly coaching and training for small group leaders, super groups and small groups, this week's "leadership breakthrough" led by Rev. Dr. Terry Walling, Discipler123 campaign, the 24 hours prayer shield in my Devotion on Fire blog, my two blogs and two podcasts daily... I can say more. But you know how many excuses some people have made when we invited them?! Those are all feast in the kingdom of God prepared by so many people wishing to build up our church into a Family of Jesus. Why so many excuses to Jesus?!

3. The Cost of Discipleship: To Give Up
Jesus says the cost of discipleship is to give up and to carry our own cross so that we can follow Jesus. What are those things you cannot give up and those are your cross. Jesus invites you to nail them on the cross so that you can follow him.

No reward, no excuse and to give up is the mandate and secret to be a true disciple of Jesus. Can you start to follow this mandate of Jesus so that you can be transformed from a World View to His Kingdom View?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to make any more excuses to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?' Luke 13: 7

Jesus had been with those people for three years and they still didn't get it. No fruit! How many years Jesus has been with you? Have you repent yet? Can Jesus find fruit in you?

If He still cannot find fruit in you then He has another chance for you until you are being cut down. Or, He wants you to deliver this message to someone so that he or she can bear fruit.

'If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.' Luke 13: 9

You need to try your best to find the lost souls! But, let yourself to be found first if you are one of the lost souls who bear no fruit!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be fruitful that you can find fruit in us. Strengthen and anoint us to find those lost souls that they can bear fruit too. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

"You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him." Luke 12: 40

When Michelle and I were in South Carolina last week for the Bishops' Retreat I saw a full page of Ad. about today would be the end of the world. And then I heard from quite a number of people that they saw all kinds of Ad. in lots of places about the same thing. So, if today is the end of the world, how do you feel? Are you prepared?

This chapter talks about the foolish preparation of a rich man. The call to prepare your treasure in heaven and not on earth. And, the preparation we need to have daily for the second coming of Jesus and that is the end of the world.

So, whether today is the end of the world or not is not the question. The question is whether you have prepared and are you ready!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be ready any time you come we can be joyfully expecting you to take us to our heavenly home. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
