"If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" Luke 11: 11
What I received from Jesus today is: The best gift from our heavenly Father
Many Christians are still praying for what they want daily. Lots of things to ask for and never satisfied! But, do you know what is the best gift our Heavenly Father wants to give you? Jesus told us in this chapter that it is the Holy Spirit. And, we need to ask for our Heavenly Father to give the Holy Spirit to us. Have you ever asked to have the Holy Spirit before? Could you start to ask today? Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot do anything. That's why Jesus said:
"I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." Luke 24: 49
What a waste that we never pray for the best because we just want what we want and not what our Heavenly Father wants! What a waste!
Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask you to give us the best gift you promised to give to those who ask. Clothed us and anointed us with the Holy Spirit that we have the power to do your work. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.Please click this link to worship with us - Holy Spirit Rain Down
