Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. Titus 3: 1-2
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and evny, being hated and hating one another. Titus 3: 3
What I heard from Jesus today is: Good, Good, Good!
What is good according to Paul in this chapter: to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
So, what is not good? The reverse of those above: to do whatever is bad, to slander people, to be not peaceable, not considerate and pride. Then Paul adds more: doing foolish things, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures, live in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. Those are really bad, bad, bad!
Live your life to be good, good, good!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to live out goodness because you are good. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
