What I heard from Jesus today is: The greatest gain on earth!
The greatest gain on earth is not you can become Bill Gates, a king or queen of a nation or to have millions of dollars. The greatest gain on earth according to Paul in this chapter to remind Timothy is the godliness with contentment! Godliness to me is the same as Christlikeness, a term we can understand in a more simple way.
We spend so much time on lots of things trying to have a great gain but sooner or later we understand we waste lots of time and energy in those things. Let's spend our time and energy from now on to be more closer to Christ so that we can be more like Him day after day and we content on that and nothing more nothing less.
So, Christlikeness with contentment is your greatest gain. Do you have that gain yet?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know and experience that Christlikeness with contentment is our greatest gain. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
