And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. 2 Timothy 2: 24-26
What I heard from Jesus today is: A servant's heart please!
There are always situation in the church to make people unable to be kind, easy to angry, rising up opposition and having division every where. It doesn't make sense! How can God's people, God's servants do that kind of thing? Impossible! But, it happens! It's all on one word "CONTROL"! When God's people want to control, when God's servants want to control, then we all fell into "the trap of the devil"! Let's receive a servant's heart from our Lord Jesus Christ by asking Him now and minister to God's people with a servant's heart, please!
I am going to ask you to read verses 24 to 26 slowly and I'll read that slowly in my podcast now. Read, and listen carefully of what our Lord Jesus Christ wants to tell you now.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to receive a servant's heart from you and be able to minister to your people with our servant's heart. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
