Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5: 1-2

What I heard from Jesus today is: Are you ready for The Day?

I am full of joy and being greatly encouraged because of a telephone call an hour ago(Now is 11:15p.m. Sept. 7 Wednesday). A brother from my church called me telling me that he just read today's blog(DAY 187 - Be Sanctified, Ready for Rapture) and the Lord led him to think of if not for me he would not have the opportunity to receive Christ and would never be ready to meet the Lord when that day come.

This brother told us two things:

1. How important it is for each one of us to be prepare that we can meet the Lord when that day come.

2. How can we be a "mediator" to bring others to Christ so that they can have that opportunity too.

Paul reminds us that to be prepare means that we need to be in the light and not in darkness, to be awaken, alert, self-controlled and not asleep, to put on the amour of God so that the Devil cannot shoot our heart or smash our head(please go to today's Devotion on Fire blog on how the Devil hide in shadow shooting your heart, please click the link above), and then to be ready to treat other people in a manner of Christlikeness.

Are you ready for the Day? Have you tried all you best to prepare others for the Day ?

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to prepare ourselves for the Day and be willing and able to prepare for more people for the Day. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
