While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Acts 10: 44-45
What I received from Jesus today is: Receive the Holy Spirit!
It's always after some major listen and obey that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit will come. This chapter shows how Cornelius and Peter both listened and obeyed and impossible became possible. You need to know that to bring Gospel to a gentile like that was totally impossible.
May you learn and practice listen and obey and that the Holy Spirit pours down to you daily!
Come, Holy Spirit, Come,
