What I received from Jesus today is: Excessive luxuries? No!
Lot of people were in shock seeing the tragic ending of Libya's president, Muammar Gaddafi. In just a very short time his luxurious empire finished. And so did Saddam Hussein, and so did Adolf Hitler and so did many tyrants. All of them had one common lifestyle: Excessive luxuries.
See how glory and power the city of Babylon will be at the end time and see how it will end in just a very short time, one hour! One of Satan's cunning scheme is to turn our eyes away from Jesus and Jesus' lifestyle but to long for a kind of fruit leading to excessive luxuries.
Today is a time for us to have a careful examination of our lifestyle with the help of the Holy Spirit. A lifestyle of Christlikeness is not only our goal but a must so that we won't long for the wrong fruit!
Dear Holy Spirit,
Help us to examine our lifestyle now so that we won't long for the wrong fruit and enter into a lifestyle of destruction. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
