The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,100 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,100 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Bible Study

Today's passage is the famous Magi story visiting baby Jesus far from the East. They brought with their best gift to offer to this new born king.

N.T. Wright tells us why Matthew put this story in his gospel"
The arrival of the 'Magi' introduces us to something which Matthew wants us to be clear about from the start. If Jesus is in some sense king of the Jews, that doesn't mean that his rule is limited to the Jewish people. At the heart of many prophecies about the coming king, the Messiah, there were predictions that his rule would bring God's justice and peace to the whole world. (e.g. Psalm 72; Isaiah 11: 1-10). Matthew will end his gospel with Jesus commissioning his followers to go out and make disciples from every nation; this, it seems, is the way that the prophecies of the Messiah's worldwide rule are going to come true...
The gifts that the Magi brought were the sort of things that people in the ancient world would think of as appropriate presents to bring to kings, or even gods...
Listen to the whole story, Matthew is saying. think about what it meant for Jesus to be the true king of the Jews. And then - come to him, by whatever route you can, and with the best gifts you can find.

That's why Matthew gives us this story. That's how Jesus challenges us of what are the best gifts we can give to Him who is King of all kings, and Lord of all Lords!

Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: What are the best gifts you can give to your King?

What do you think are the best gifts you can give to Jesus as your King really? You think that I am talking about your tithing, your increase of your offering? No, that's the thing you will certainly do if you have a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. What's the big deal to give your 10%, 20% or more if sometimes you can give a 20% tips to a good waitress/waiter in a good restaurant, and your paying of the tax!

Turn to the end of Matthew and you will know what Jesus really want you to give Him as your best gifts! The Great Commission:
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to offer to you our best gifts especially to live out your great commission. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
