The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,100 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,100 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

This passage is a challenge to all of us on priorities, whether God is our God or we have other "gods". N.T. Wright has some very good and important insights:
This passage is about priorities, and the central priority is God himself. No question about the importance of putting God first. But the catch is that, because God is loving and gentle, and wants us to choose to love and serve him freely rather than to be forced into it like slaves, it often seems, even to Christians who have in principle decided to give their lives to him, that there are many different things they could do. And often the different things start to take over ... not least when they make money or bring fame. The passage is all about learning to love and serve God for himself, and in secret, rather than simply having an eye on the main chance, either to show off by being so religious or to store up wealth...
The important point, here and all through, is the question: is your eye fixed on God, or on someone (or something) else? What is your priority?
What Jesus is saying is that money gives orders. It bosses you around. If you have your priorities right, there is only one boss, and that is God himself.
Sort your priorities out. When you look back at your life in two, five, ten, fifteen years' time, will you be glad you put first things first?
What N.T. Wright gives us are valuable insight for us to ponder. You can't get things done properly if you do not get your priorities right.
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: Get your priorities right please!
What has priorities to do with "fasting"? Well, fasting is a very important way of religious life for the Jews. Fasting is perhaps the most powerful way of prayers I know of and recorded in the Bible. But, those Jews fasted doing their best to let other people knew that they were superior than the others. Their priority was not on God but solely for the praise from other people. Their priority was totally wrong!
Then, money can boss people around, or other things boss people around. We can be so blinded to be led by so many "bosses" to have our daily priorities but never on God. How sad!
Get your priorities right please!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to see what you want us to see so that we won't waste our time on wrong priority. Keep our eyes fixed on you please. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
