Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "Call on God, He will come near, curse changes to blessings"
Today's 1 Chronicles is perhaps one of the most favourite passages in the Old Testament for many people. Many people pray often hoping that the Prayer of Jabez will become a reality in their own lives just as it happened to Jabez.
Do you think if you pray daily using Prayer of Jabez and it would happen to you? A great blessing, your territory being enlarged, God's hand be with you always to protect you and bless you and that you won't cause pain anymore.
The point is that whether you love God the most and because of that as describes in today's Psalm He will come near to you, to uphold you when you fall, to lift you up when you are under attack or depression, to give you provision at the proper time and that your life will be a life always praising God.
That is how all those names after names in the beginning of 1 Chronicles showing us a record of God's people. When you read all those names, you might not interest to copy any of those verses. I was thinking so, but suddenly, when I was leading our Thursday night Time with Abba last night. I got a feeling that all those names to me is to tell me that how limited I am, how short my life really is and how great God is and how His name to be praise for ever and ever and how our names passed away in a short while, no matter who you are.
So, call on Jesus as often as you can and enjoy His coming near to you! When you call and cry out to Him, even curse will become blessings!

The point is not whether you use this prayer to pray or not. The point is whether you believe God says in the Bible many, many times that if you call on Him, cry out to Him and He will listen and He will bless.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to call on you and cry out to you as often as we can so that we can experience your coming near to us each day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. How often do you call on and cry out to Jesus?
2. How near you think Jesus is with you now? How can you be more nearer with Jesus each day?
2. How near you think Jesus is with you now? How can you be more nearer with Jesus each day?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
Let us praise the Lord:
