Anglican Mission in Canada and Richmond Emmanuel Church have launched MISSION 113 Campaign starting January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026. We have received the baton from Archbishop Yong to continuous the call His Grace received in 1993 to bring more souls to God's eternal Kingdom! Silence

1.   Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to Him. 

   

     My Listening

    The topic I received today from Jesus is: Gracious words are a honeycomb!

Yesterday we talked about lots of people cannot sleep well due to the pandemic 4 1/2 years ago! What I received today is that not only do people cannot sleep well, but lots of people cannot say positive words, the negative mentality treating family members and friends make people uncomfortable and sometimes painful!

Today's Proverbs gives us a good advice and instruction, reminding us of our gracious words can bring people wellness and blessings.

What are gracious words? Is that we say something good in order for us to please other people? Or, can we deceive other people by saying pleasant words but we do not mean that?

New King James Version translates that as "Pleasant", and NIV which I am using now as "Gracious".

Actually, gracious words in the original Hebrew word means the words pleasing God and also give other people a pleasant feeling. If we know how to speak gracious words, then people will taste a kind of sweetness like a honeycomb and can even heal people!

I wish and pray that you know how to use gracious words to bless other people!

     Dear Lord Jesus,  

     Help us to be willing to use gracious words that you are pleased and people being blessed. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Please watch these very encouraging photos that a couple came up to me after my preaching at All Saints Cathedral last Sunday(four days ago)with Julia, thanking me to pray for them in October 2022 when I was invited to be a speaker in the Golden Saints Fellowship.

His very serious prostate cancer was being healed!

He said he felt someone was laying hand on his head. As you see in the photos I took, I did not ask them to come out for me to lay hand on them. I asked them to raise up their hands to pray and to receive ! And, Jesus lay hand on him and he was being healed! Praise the Lord!

    Reflect on these questions:

     1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

      

      2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do?
