Please click this link to read Titus 3:
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. Titus 3: 1-2

At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and evny, being hated and hating one another. Titus 3: 3

What I heard from Jesus today is: Good, Good, Good!

What is good according to Paul in this chapter: to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.

So, what is not good? The reverse of those above: to do whatever is bad, to slander people, to be not peaceable, not considerate and pride. Then Paul adds more: doing foolish things, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures, live in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. Those are really bad, bad, bad!

Live your life to be good, good, good!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to live out goodness because you are good. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Please click this link to read Titus 2:
These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you. Titus 2: 15

What I heard from Jesus today is: When to encourage, when to rebuke?

Do you know when to encourage and when to rebuke? How many encouragements have you given to other people lately? Do you know what Paul is talking about here? Here are the three points Paul want to make:
1. You need to teach various groups of people how they live their lives.
2. If they can live out those good qualities, encourage them.
3. If they can't live out those good qualities, rebuke them.

So, do you know when to teach, when to encourage and when to rebuke.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know when to teach, when to encourage and when to rebuke. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Please click this link to read Titus 1:
Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless - not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. Titus 1: 7- 9

What I heard from Jesus today is: Sure win secret!

If there is really a sure win secret then people would pay whatever they can pay to get it. And, today we have got one from Paul. Are you going to follow?
It seems a clear instruction and job description for bishops and nothing to do with you. But, it's everything about you if you are willing to be a disciple of Jesus. Can you read it, try your best to follow this instruction and raise up your second, third and fourth generation of leaders to follow this sure win secret? You and others will be richly blessed, strengthened, anointed and empowered by our Lord Jesus Christ if you do that!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to follow this sure win secret all the days of our life.In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
