Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Please see below the passages I copied today:
Today is the second day of our staff and family retreat in Port Hardy and we had our Time with Abba at 7am. It was a good time that we could have a time to have TWA and had a great "catch". Then a few hours later, Michelle really got a big cod, a big catch!
Today's Psalm 95:1-11 tells us a very true reality of human sins! Instead of praising and giving thanks to God as the people of His pasture, the Israelites chose not to do that but as a rebellious people against God's love! The consequence is that they could not enter into God's rest, His Shalom!
The message echoes in today's 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 that who ever receive God's spirit (reach -breath)they will be free and be able to be transformed into God's image. A return to what happened in Genesis 2:7!
But, today's Proverbs 22:8-9 and Job 32:1-5 shows us a reverse picture of God's image. Instead of God's glory and light in our face and lives, instead of being more and more like Jesus, we become more and more angry and judgmental. that's how Job's four friends did trying their best to accuse Job as a sinner because of what Job suffered. And when they could not make Job to confess that it was his sins causing him all that sufferings, all of them became angry.
Friends, do you have God's rest, the Shalom and become more and more Christlike. Or, are you more and more judgmental and your face is always not peaceful, not joyful and sometimes full of anger and devil like?
My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "Listen and obey God's word, have peace, more and more Christlike"

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to truly listen and obey to Your daily words so that we can be more like Christ and more and more generous, so generous as how You gave Your everything to us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Are you in God's peace or in anger recently ? Why?
2. How can you be more generous and less judgmental?
2. How can you be more generous and less judgmental?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
Let us praise the Lord:
