Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
I was in awe when Rev. Joshua Siu read Isaiah 29: 16:
"You turn things upside down,
as if the potter were thought to be like the clay."
Yes, we as human beings always turn God's Word and His preparation upside down and not right side up. How sad by doing that so many people cannot sleep, do not have the appetite to eat, discouraged and even depressed. How sad!
Today is also a day that the Lord reveals to me that it is better to come together daily to have Time with Abba and not just to have TWA at home yourself. Of course, if you can't come early in the morning at church then having TWA at home is second choice. Why? We can listen to other people's sharing and may be God speaks through other people to you. Just like this morning, I did not copy the passage Josh got but later when I went home I copied that passage and I changed my main catch first from "God's Word right side up, not upside down" then to "Busyness is Lord? Jesus is Lord?" So, this morning is a wonderful experience to be with Jesus listening to Him attentively! Really wonderful!
Today's Psalm 105:8-15 tells us that God will keep His covenant with us forever and for a thousand generations. He will give us our portion and He will protect us from our enemies.
Today's Proverbs 23:19-21 tells us that we as sons and daughters of God we need to listen to our Father's voice and be wise to set our HEART on the right path, that is His path and not following on those people who live a drunken and greedy life.
Today's Galatians 4:4-7 confirms with the messages from today's Psalm and Proverbs of sonship and how we live no longer a slave to old Culture and things blocking us to have that daily intimate relationship and being filled with the Holy Spirit each day to call "Abba, Father."
Wow! That's how I call "Abba, Father" when I went to TWA this morning with brothers and sisters together, calling, singing and praising Him "Abba, Father".
But, the sad situation is that lots of people have not received that because of what it says in today's Isaiah:
Our hearts are too busy on things that pull us away from our Abba Father!
Our hearts are too busy on our own wisdom, plans, on eating and drinking, on following human teachings and more.
Because of that God pours down on us a deep sleep and even our leaders and prophets cannot see!
It's like we are actually the clay but we are making God the clay, thinking that we can even control God with our wisdom and plans! Busy plans that we do not need to be with the Lord each day receive His Word and plans for us!
So, the challenge to you today is that:
1. Is busyness your Lord or Jesus your Lord?
2. If you want to have Jesus as your Lord, how can you not to be enslaved by busyness to give back your time and everything to Jesus as your Lord?

Dear Lord Jesus,
You are my Lord and King. Help me to return to you not worshiping busyness but worshipping you as my Lord and King. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Is busyness your Lord or Jesus your Lord? Why?
2. If you want to have Jesus as your Lord, how can you not to be enslaved by busyness to give back your time and everything to Jesus as your Lord?
