Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

I have another wonderful TWA this morning started with the key word "slave" in today's Psalm 105:16-22. Joseph was once a slave but because of his faithfulness and patience to wait, God set him free from slavery to become a Prime Minister!
Then today's Galatians 5:1 talks about it might be possible that even Jesus free us from the slavery of sin but we are being pulled back to slavery!
Slavery of what?
Today's Isaiah 30:15-18 tells us very clear that we might become the slavery of the fear of being pursued and killed. When the Israelites were being pursued, they fled on horses and even swift horses rather than repent and returned back to rest in God's arms and protection. They rather chose fear and ran away swiftly rather than received the strength from their quiet time and trust in the Lord is the only way to protect them. Because the Lord longs to be gracious to them and to us if we dare to repent and go back to him. For those who are willing to wait for him.
What is the one main thing that block us from this kind of repentance that we can't find rest in God each day and we are without any strength because we are so busy in everything but not having our quietness in the presence of God. We choose to trust in other ways, other people, other things to give us strength rather than Jesus Himself!
Yes, what I received today from our Lord Jesus Christ is that "busyness" is the top No. 1 killer to pursue us to pull us away from our willingness to enjoy rest in God each day and being strengthened by the Holy Spirit every morning.
Is "busyness" killing you?
My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "Busyness is your killer"

Is "busyness" killing you?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to repent and return to you so that we can rest and regain our strength each day in quietness and that we can trust you totally. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Is busyness pulling you away from your daily rest in Jesus and receiving strength from the Holy Sprit?
2. How can you get away from this "killer"?
2. How can you get away from this "killer"?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
