Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Please see below the passages I copied today:
It is impossible that King Darius did not kill Daniel after the King conquered Babylon. Daniel was the third highest ruler in Babylon! Also, King Darius allowed Daniel to continually to be in the highest position in his new Kingdom to be one of the three administrators. That's more than impossible! Why?
I think it is because of the word "continually" that King Darius used two times in today's passages.
King Darius was forced by his nobles to put Daniel into the lions' den because he disobeyed the King's decree that no one could pray to any god or human being during that thirty days. But, Daniel "got down on his knees and prayed three time a day". King Darius would like to see whether Daniel's God whom he served continually could rescue him or not.
Then, King Darius saw the miracle with his own eyes that Daniel did not die and he issued a decree that all people in his kingdom "must fear and reverence the God of Daniel". Daniel was not being executed by the King, instead he "prospered"!
Who could do this? Only God!
Who could make God to do this? Only those who continually worship and serve God!
Are you the one who continually worship and serve God?
Today's 2 Peter 3:5-6 gives us a very clear warning that we as human beings always do the opposite thing of "continually", we "deliberately" forget God!
5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished.
We are such kind of poor creatures!
Let us receive Peter's encouragement from 2 Peter 3:8-10:
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,[a] not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Never deliberately forget God! Because God continually rescue you, He waits for you each day for you to come to Him continually worship Him, fear Him and serve Him just like what Daniel did.
May you be willing to be used by God to do signs and wonders and that you will surely like Daniel - prospered!
Reflect on these questions:
My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: "God continually rescue you, you deliberately forget Him"
Today's passage from Daniel of the repeated words of King Darius gives me lots of reflection:

The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”
Daniel 6:20:
When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”

Dear Holy Spirit ,
May you open our "eye" so that we are no more arrogant and never deliberately forget you but to be willing to accept your instruction to renew our lives each day so that we are in your protection and blessing and that we can prosper. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
1. Are you the one who God continually rescue but you deliberately forget Him?
2. How can you know your sin, confess, repent and be renewed?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
Praise and Thanksgiving
