Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Reflect on these questions:
2. How can you experience God with you each day?
My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: "Want God with you? Be more simple! "
Every Christian wants to experience "God with us" each day. But, lots of time they can't have that, why?
Today's Psalm 119:130 inspires us that what is lacking is that we are too complicated, we need to be more simple!
"it gives understanding to the simple" , what it means is that we really need to be a simple guy in order to understand when God unfold His Words to us so that we can receive light.
What does it mean to be "simple"? The answer is in Psalm 119:131"I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands." It's like you are thirsty in the desert and you can't find any water, oasis, then you see an oasis and the spring. Wow! Can you imagine what your face would be and how would you feel!
How do you know you are really simple, using simple way to approach God each day and not complicatedly shut off yourself in your own world or cell?
Psalm 119:132-135 gives you a simple answer:
1. Turn to me (139:132)
2. Direct me (139:133)
3. Redeem me (139:134)
4. Make your face to shine on me(139:135)
5. Teach me(139:135)
But, this usually won't happen!
Just like what it describes in v.136, "Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law in not obeyed."
Today's Ezekiel 16:46-51 says because God's people of Judah did not obey God's command they were like people of Sodom "arrogant, overfed and unconcerned", and they doubled the sins of Israel!
Today's Hebrews 8:10-12 tells us how good God is really. Wicked as those people of God was, once they returned to God in a simple way and then God saved them!
Want God with you? Be more simple!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to turn to you each day in a simple way so that we can live in your protection and blessing. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
1. Do you know how to turn to God in a simple way daily?
3. What have you received from Jesus today?
Praise and Thanksgiving
