“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 126:4-6, Ezekiel 42:1-43:27; James 5:1-20; Proverbs 28:6-7)
Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.
Psalm 126:4-6
Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
19 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
James 5:17-20
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening The topic I received today from Jesus is: The most joyful time in life is our harvest time!
Yesterday's Psalm tells us that the most joyful moment should be the time that you successfully bring someone back to God's HOME! Because you will see with your own eyes how God does great things in your life and that person's life!
Today I got the second part of the message from Psalm 126:4-6, that joy is like the harvest of farmers. Psalm 126 tells us that God creates us as farmers to make a harvest, without rain, nothing will grow. And, rain to us is the Holy Spirit, we need the Holy Spirit like rain that we can have a harvest!
Today's James 5:17-20 tells us what is our harvest? The harvest is just as my catch yesterday is for you to bring someone back to God's HOME! Because you will experience the great thing God does through you and it is "turns a sinner from the error of their way and will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins." (James 5:20)
The things you work hard on earth no matter family, health, money, fame or anything will be left on earth when you die. The only thing you can have and see in heaven are those relatives and friends that you help them to receive Jesus that Jesus uses you to save a sinner from death, eternal death!
The two photos above were taken on September 9, 2009 when I was being consecrated as a bishop with Rev. Todd Hunter and Rev. Doc Loomis by many Archbishops and bishops. Each one of us wore a white stole given by Archbishop Yong Ping Chung. The Chinese words is from Psalm 126:6 "Sow in Tears, Reap with Joy". A true harvest time on September 9, 2009!
May you continuous to experience that most joyful moment of life, your harvest time!i Dear Lord Jesus, Help us get hold of this "Diamond Opportunity" in the midst of this dark world to have the most joyful harvest time. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions: 1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now? 2. What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus, to be holy - that is to do what Jesus wants you to do and not to do what Jesus wants you not to do? Family Corner: Find an opportunity to share with your family the importance of today's message.
