1. 求聖靈光照，使你知罪，願意認罪悔改
"親愛的聖靈, 求你光照我心靈的深處, 使我看見我的罪, 我和主耶穌的阻隔,
求你幫助, 奉主耶穌基督名求。阿們。"

2. 透過聖靈的工作, 安靜一刻, 省察自己, 之後祈禱:
「親愛的主耶穌，感謝你為我的罪釘死在十字架上，我願意在你面前承認我的罪（凡聖靈光照到的，請逐一說出），求你用你的寶血赦免我的罪，我願意打開心門讓你作我的救主，求你救贖我，我願意一生跟隨你讓你作我生命的主，求你帶領我。聖靈，求你充滿我，使我得著恩賜及力量去侍奉主、見證主，奉主耶穌基督名求，阿們。」

2 在以法蓮、便雅憫、瑪拿西前面施展你的大能，來救我們。

3 神啊，求你使我們回轉（或譯：復興），使你的臉發光，我們便要得救！

4 耶和華 ─ 萬軍之神啊，你向你百姓的禱告發怒，要到幾時呢？

5 你以眼淚當食物給他們吃，又多量出眼淚給他們喝。

6 你使鄰邦因我們紛爭；我們的仇敵彼此戲笑。

7 萬軍之神啊，求你使我們回轉，使你的臉發光，我們便要得救！

8 你從埃及挪出一棵葡萄樹，趕出外邦人，把這樹栽上。

9 你在這樹根前預備了地方，他就深深扎根，爬滿了地。

10 他的影子遮滿了山，枝子好像佳美的香柏樹。

11 他發出枝子，長到大海，發出蔓子，延到大河。

12 你為何拆毀這樹的籬笆，任憑一切過路的人摘取？

現在讓你有一個安靜的時刻，給聖靈一個空間，讓主耶穌可以藉着剛才讀過的經文，親自對你説話。

我的聆聽

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 立刻回轉，生命更新!

正如好像早幾天一様，我以為從主領受的是 "甚麼是回轉，生命更新?"，但主耶穌對我說: "這是不夠力的，是 "立刻回轉，生命更新!"

所以，今天主耶穌命令你，立刻回轉，生命更新!

基督徒講生命更新很多，真正的生命更新卻不多，詩篇80篇告訴我們何謂生命更新:

1. 不要再轉離神的懷抱。

2. 回轉歸回神，愈來愈靠近神。

3. 和神的距離近到他的臉光可以照在你的臉上。

這就是生命更新，這様和主每天又近又親蜜的距離，使主去更新你，拯救你!

我們可以看到第3節，第7節及19節有如 "你真偉大"的副歌一様重覆地向主呼求，使生命更新:

神啊，求你使我們回轉（或譯：復興），使你的臉發光，我們便要得救！

讓我們立刻回轉，經歷生命更新!

謝謝大家為陳慶麟先生在過去一星向主呼求，他脫離難關了，前二天可在ICU和家人視像傾談，而Gary及他母親也差不多完全復完了!，Jim Kelly 弟兄也在康服中，今天便可出院了!

當我們一起祈禱時，神蹟奇事就發生! 感謝主垂聽我們的禱告!

親愛的主耶穌,

求你幫助我們立刻回轉，經歷生命更新，奉主耶穌基督名求。阿們。

由2021年1月1日開始，我帶領大家每日讀一篇詩篇，用150天去為大家帶來一個藉詩篇唱詩歌頌寶貴的靈修親親爸父經歷。

更感恩的是我和認識了超過三十多年的好朋友鄭張淑儀博士合作每日一詩篇，150日 "親親爸父，唱詩歌頌"的新嘗試。

張博士Alice 現在是香港拔萃女書院 (DGS)的副校長，她會每天晝一幅表達那天詩篇精要的畫，而我則如以往一様寫此博客的內容。大家可以見到下面張博士和丈夫鄭昭明弟兄，我太太和我最近在香港的合照，及她穿着博士袍在1984年畢業的母挍香港拔萃女書院的畢業生牆有她名字Alice S Y CHEUNG Class of 1984前面影的相。

DAY 79 (2021) - The bitterness of rebellion! (Please go to FaceBook(silastyng) to watch my video of this blog)

Silence

1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence

2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

Praise and Thanksgiving

1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile

2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people

3. Sing a song to praise God (you are welcome to use "Father, I adore you" which I have been singing every morning for the past 20 years or your own choice to praise God)

Father, I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You.

Jesus, I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You.

Spirit, I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You.

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Psalm 79

A psalm of Asaph.

1 O God, the nations have invaded your inheritance;
    they have defiled your holy temple,
    they have reduced Jerusalem to rubble.
2 They have left the dead bodies of your servants
    as food for the birds of the sky,
    the flesh of your own people for the animals of the wild.
3 They have poured out blood like water
    all around Jerusalem,
    and there is no one to bury the dead.
4 We are objects of contempt to our neighbors,
    of scorn and derision to those around us.

5 How long, Lord? Will you be angry forever?
    How long will your jealousy burn like fire?
6 Pour out your wrath on the nations
    that do not acknowledge you,
on the kingdoms
    that do not call on your name;
7 for they have devoured Jacob
    and devastated his homeland.

8 Do not hold against us the sins of past generations;
    may your mercy come quickly to meet us,
    for we are in desperate need.
9 Help us, God our Savior,
    for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
    for your name’s sake.
10 Why should the nations say,
    “Where is their God?”

Before our eyes, make known among the nations
    that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants.
11 May the groans of the prisoners come before you;

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

My Listening

The topic I received from Jesus is: The bitterness of rebellion!

When the Israelites were invaded by other nations, they started to taste the bitterness of rebellion and beg for God's intervention.

History repeats and repeats again that man will never repent and beg for God's help until they are in desperate need!

I hope this is the time for people to repent when the whole world is facing with COVID-19! May be this is a kind of bitterness of rebellion the mortal human beings have to taste in order that more are willing to repent and return back to the mighty Kingdom of God!

Thank you for your prayers to Allan Chan. He got through the most difficult and critical condition of COVID-19. Even he is still in ICU, he talked to his wife and his two sons through FaceTime yesterday and had a smile on his face!

Also, I called Jim Kelly yesterday and he is slowly recovering. Had been in Burnaby Hospital for two weeks and may be able to go home in the coming few days time.

Wow! Miracles do happen when we pray! God hears our prayers! Thank you, Lord Jesus!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to listen and obey to your command that we never have to taste the bitterness of rebellion.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

Starting from January 1, 2021, I started to lead you to read one Psalm everyday for 150 days that you can experience a powerful experience to use Psalm to pray and sing praises to the Lord. Praise the Lord that after a few months of preparation for this new series with a good friend, Alice Cheung, you can see a brand new look in my daily blog. Alice who is now the Vice Principal of Diocesan Girls' School (https://www.dgs.edu.hk/) is going to draw a painting each day to highlight the key message of that day's Psalm. You can see the photos below of Alice, one pictures was taken in Hong Kong of Michelle and me, and Alice and her husband Johnson. The other picture is with her Doctor of Education gown standing besides the Alumni Wall of DGS and with her name and the year 1984, the year she graduated in that school. She had been a principal of a high school for seven years and worked as a Vice Principal two years ago.

（亞薩的詩。）神啊，外邦人進入你的產業，污穢你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷變成荒堆，

2 把你僕人的屍首交與天空的飛鳥為食，把你聖民的肉交與地上的野獸，

3 在耶路撒冷周圍流他們的血如水，無人葬埋。

4 我們成為鄰國的羞辱，成為我們四圍人的嗤笑譏刺。

5 耶和華啊，這到幾時呢？你要動怒到永遠麼？你的憤恨要如火焚燒麼？

我的聆聽

今日我從主耶穌領受的主題是: 叛逆的人必自食其果!

當以色列被其他國家侵佔的時候，他們嘗到因叛逆神，離棄神所帶來的苦果，他們開始哀求神的出手，他們願意悔改了!

這可悲的歷史正是重覆又重覆地發生，人不會認罪悔改，直到我們山窮水盡，彈盡糧絕之時才向神哀求!

新冠肺炎是否整個世界山窮水盡，彈盡糧絕之時呢? 我們嘗到因叛逆神，離棄神所帶來的苦果未呢? 世人開始哀求神的出手，願意悔改未呢?
