Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is that "Obedience bears fruit, much fruit".
What I received from our Lord is the life and death difference of being obedience and the opposite. Satan's daily job is to make us not able to see God's work, not able to listen to God's voice, not able to understand God's Word and not willing to obey.
See how Moses obeyed and that's how God used him to make people and things Holy. Holiness comes from obedience to what God says. That's how Jesus told people around Him that "Obedience is thicker than blood. The person who obeys God's will is my brother and sister and mother."
If we really are willing to listen to God's Word, obey His daily command and we will surely bear fruit, much fruit!
Jesus also revealed to me when I was writing this blog that there are quite a number of homework, exercise or even examination papers for us to do each day to help us to listen to obey. Our copying the Bible and have at least one hour of time being with the Lord is one of many exercise. Our not being caught up by anger, greed, self-centredness is a daily quiz. Our being discouraged and lose faith in God and His servants is a mid-term examination paper and our being peaceful and ready to face death is our final examination paper! That's what it means by much fruit, right?
If you think that you are obedience, are you bearing much fruit?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to obey to your daily command so that we can bear fruit, much fruit . In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Do you think that you obey to God's command daily? Are you bearing much fruit? If you are not, why?
2. How can you be more willing to listen and obey?
2. How can you be more willing to listen and obey?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
