Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"
My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is that "Keep watch and pray for one hour at least a day".
Today's Psalm reminds us to spend our days under the Lord's care and our inheritance will endure forever. Then today's Mark reminds us of how Jesus told Simon to keep watch for one hour but Simon did not obey.
For years I thought the call of Jesus to Simon and other disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane is a one time call and that's it. But, today as I ponder on all the passages I got a feeling that this is not a one time call, but a lifetime call!
Yes, we spend time with so many people and so many things each day but we do not have at least one hour with our Lord and King. I deep believe that Jesus had a lifestyle of spending at least one hour a day with the Heavenly Father. That's why he asked his disciples to do that so that they could face with the coming crisis and disaster. They did not obey to the call to have that precious one hour and they were crashed to pieces spiritually.
One of the best experience for those who come everyday for Time with Abba is that we really spend time with Jesus at least 1 1/2 hour each day. And, so many wonderful things happen after we enjoy this new lifestyle!
Do you have that one hour at least with Jesus each day? Do you know the consequence of disobeying this daily command? Have you experienced the fruit and blessing of obeying this daily command?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be with you each day for at least one hour so that we can enjoy each day with your presence. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Do you have that one hour at least with Jesus each day? Do you know the consequence of disobeying this daily command?
2. Have you experienced the fruit and blessing of obeying this daily command?

3. What have you got from Jesus today?
