Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is that "No fear of the Lord turns God's house of prayer into a den of robbers".
Today's passages call us to listen to God's daily call to come close to Him in awe and learn to fear God! Yes, to fear God! When you know to fear God deep down in your heart then there's nothing on world would cause you to live in fear!
In fact, most of the people on earth are living in fear: fear of not earning enough money, fear of death, fear of having cancer, heart attack, fear of loneliness, fear of losing power and control, fear of no one respect you .....
See how God even can blot out people's name from the earth (Ps 34:16). That's very frightening!
Those who do not know to fear God would even turn God's temple into a market place like in Jesus' time and how Jesus clears the temple courts. In modern days, the situation is even more serious! Quite a number of people are using the church as a fishing pond to get their fish! Making friends in the name of caring but in fact to make effort to sell their products! This kind of selfish act scares lots of new people who just want to find Jesus.
So, in our church I always recommend brothers and sisters not to give name cards to people and not to introduce their business unless they are being asked. Let's make every effort to have your church a house of prayer and not a den of robbers!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to build your church to be a house of prayer. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Do you have similar situation as what Jesus experienced?
2. If you have the similar situation, how can you do something to change the situation?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
