Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is that "Fall in to God's Army, follow Jesus as the Supreme Commander".
Today's passages call us fall in to God's vast army as describes in Ezekiel 37:10!
See how in today's Psalm that God's army on earth and the army of angels in the heaven can do to those who are against God's army. Wow! When God acts, those who kill will be killed!
See how in today's Proverbs the storm can sweep away the wicked but the righteous God's army will stand firm forever.
See how in today's Numbers calls us to fall in to our own company under the flag God gives us to follow. For you, that should be your church, your pastors. We need to be obedience under the chains of command just like an army.
See how in today's Mark that we can't escape from sufferings and persecution. But, when God's time come and when we are in His vast army following Jesus the Cornerstone and our Supreme Commander, we will soon win the warfare!
But, the reality is that most Christians are on their own way of doing things. They do not like to follow the direction of their pastors and leaders, not even talk about command. What would that become if a general, a captain can not command his troop?
So, let's fall in to God's Army and be willing to be under His chains of command and we will be secure and be able to stand firm in even the most severe storm and spiritual warfare.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to obey to the command of you and your servants so that we can be part of your vast army. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. How do you understand today's picture of God's army?
2. How can you do a better job to be in His Army?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
