Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "I will not be with you anymore unless...".
When God was with the Israelites and when the Israelites totally obeyed God's command, even the stronghold as the city of Jericho was completely destroyed.
But, because of Achan's sin, the Israelites was defeated by Ai, a small city of not significance soldiers.
And God told Joshua, "I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction."
We can see in today's Psalm that God will uproot all those evil people with great wealth but grew strong by destroying others. That was how God acted to the city of Jericho and Achan.
For that "son heeds his father's instruction", he is consider a wise son as described in today's Proverbs and the return of the prodigal son as in today's Luke.
We will surely be like olive trees flourishing in the house of God if we trust in God's unfailing love and enjoy His everlasting presence daily.
Choose it wisely, either like olive trees flourishing in the house of God or without God's presence and soon be uprooted!
I do think the call for many of us to be in God's house early in the morning daily is the way and may be the best way for us to be olive trees flourishing glorifying God's holy name.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to enjoy your presence each day in your house so that we can be olive trees flourishing glorifying your holy name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Do you have anything in your life unholy that Jesus would not be with you?
2. How can you enjoy God's presence daily in His house?
2. How can you enjoy God's presence daily in His house?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
Let us praise the Lord:
