Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
The assignment from the Lord to me today is "Abandoned God, severe curses; Fear God, abundant preparations"
Today is wonderful!
I had a 1 1/2 hour TWA(Time with Abba) and FOTA(Fire on the Altar) 6a.m. to 7:30a.m. at REC. Then a 1 1/2 hour workout in the new Richmond City Centre Community Centre running track-mill for 1 1/2 hour of a distance of nine miles. Then another one hour and eighty minutes TWA and FOTA (from 7p.m. to 8:40p.m.) joining Pastoral School's weekly Thursday TWA and FOTA at REC.
Wow! Both spiritually and physically satisfied!
I would like to invite you to take a look at the five pages I copied during that two hours time and it is so rich that you can't imagine if you have not experienced that before.
The main message is that if we abandon God as it says in Deuteronomy 29:25 then severe curses will come. We won't listen to God's voice, we'll trust in rich and powerful people and ourselves, we'll ware a mask and do not tell the true with lying tongues, we'll worship those things God has not given and prepared for us, we'll root in evil and poisonous things, we'll be greedy, wicked, mean, unrighteous ....and more. The consequence is that we'll be destroyed in God's time and in God's way!
If we choose life and follow God and His commands, then we and our generations will live, we'll not fear of evil days or wicked people, we are willing to listen to God's voice and understand His voice, we'll like to praise God and to be able to get away from sorrows and troubles, we'll like to promote peace and have joy, we'll be able to enter into God's preparations, we'll be generous and be clean, we'll love God, listen and obey to His command and hold fast to Him in all circumstances and God will be our life and our days will be long and we'll live in the Promised Land He prepares for us...and more!
So, what is your choice? Severe curses or abundant preparations?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to fear you so that we can enter into your abundant preparations. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Which way are you heading now? Being severely cursed or receiving abundant preparations?
2. How can you be sure that you can receive His abundant preparations?
2. How can you be sure that you can receive His abundant preparations?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
Let us praise the Lord:
