Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: "May your 2019 be VERY GOOD! How?"
Today Genesis 1:31 tells us how God says "Very good" after He saw
what He had made. May 2019 will be a year that you experience the
"Very Good" from God!
So, how can you experience "Very Good"?
1. What is "Very Good"?
2. Why there wasn't "very good", but "very not good" ?
If you are being filled with the Holy Spirit, then the Word of Jesus will come, you are able to listen to what Jesus wants to tell you. When the Light of Christ come(in fact His presence is light because He is light), light comes, it is surely "very Good"!
4. What would happen if you are being filled with the Spirit and become "very good" ?
what He had made. May 2019 will be a year that you experience the
"Very Good" from God!
So, how can you experience "Very Good"?
1. What is "Very Good"?
Genesis 1:27 " Be fruitful and increase in number; fill
the earth and subdue it."
a. Fruitful
b. Increase
c. Fill
2. Why there wasn't "very good", but "very not good" ?
Genesis 1:1-2 "In the beginning God created the
heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and
empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the
Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said,
"Let there be light," and there was light.
"very not good" is because in the beginning the world had not
been hovered by the Holy Spirit and the Word of Christ had
not come yet. No light, very not good:
a. Formless - That's why new Christians need Spiritual
formation so that people may changed from "formless"
into "formation".
b. Empty - People changed from their lives full of emptiness
to be transformed into life abundant.
c. Darkness - When we believe in Jesus then we will be out
of darkness into light.
3. How can we be transformed from "very not good" to "very
good"?
Genesis 1:2b "and the Spirit of God was hovering over
the waters. And God said,
"Let there be light," and there was light.
If you are being filled with the Holy Spirit, then the Word of Jesus will come, you are able to listen to what Jesus wants to tell you. When the Light of Christ come(in fact His presence is light because He is light), light comes, it is surely "very Good"!
If you want to be "very good" then your first need should be the Holy Spirit, when you are being filled with the Holy Spirit, the Word of God will be no more just learning but God's presence and your experience. Right?
4. What would happen if you are being filled with the Spirit and become "very good" ?
Well, that's the best, because what it says in today's Psalm 1:1-6 and Proverbs 1:1-6 will happen in your life!
Then, your 2019 surely will be very good!
Dear Holy Sprit,
May you shine on me each day that I know what are those things you ask me to do and I do not do.
What are those things you ask me not to do and I do. Help me to repent so that I can be filled by you to experience very good. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
What are those things you ask me not to do and I do. Help me to repent so that I can be filled by you to experience very good. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
1. What are those obstacles to block you that you can't experience "Very good"?
2. How can you experience "very good" more each day?
3. What have you heard from Jesus today?
Praise and Thanksgiving
