Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: "No quarrel, but Sacrifice; Listen, Rewarded"
If you were Abram, would you make such sacrifice as to give the best pieces of land to Lot? Or, would you like those people to fight till death for wealth and land?
If you were Abram, would you be willing to make such sacrifice as to give a tenth of everything after you experienced God is your shield and your King?
If you would willing to listen to God like what Abram did, God will surely reward you as he rewarded Abram. He will reward you as what Jesus promised in today's Matthew 5:43-48 of not fight and love your enemies. He will reward you as the promise in today's Proverbs 1:33 that "you will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm."
What kind of reward is better than you are more and more like God who is perfect!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me not to quarrel with people but willing to sacrifice. Lead me to be willing to listen to you and walk in the way you direct me to walk so that I can receive your rewards. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Do you have any intention, thought or action to quarrel with someone recently? If you have, how can you change this attitude?
2. What have you heard from Jesus' command to you to make sacrifices and offerings? What is your next step?
3. What have you heard from Jesus today?
