2.   Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

Praise and Thanksgiving

1.   Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2.   Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

     “Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

     "Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 135:15-21, Hosea 1:1-3:5; 1 John 5:1-21, Proverbs 29:5-8)

    Today's main passage:
      “In that day,” declares the Lord,
    “you will call me ‘my husband’;
    you will no longer call me ‘my master.]
17 I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips;
    no longer will their names be invoked.
18 In that day I will make a covenant for them
    with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky
    and the creatures that move along the ground.
Bow and sword and battle
    I will abolish from the land,
    so that all may lie down in safety.
19 I will betroth you to me forever;
    I will betroth you in righteousness and justice,
    in love and compassion.
20 I will betroth you in faithfulness,
    and you will acknowledge the Lord.
   Hosea 2:16-20

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.

    My Listening
      The topic I received today is: You acknowledge me, I marry you

     God wants to tell us through the prophet Hosea that the relationship between He and us is the relationship between a husband and his wife, just like how it is described in Revelation of the relationship between the bride and the groom.

     But, at that time Israel and Judah betrayed God to worship Baal as "lord, master', like an unfaithful wife. That's why the wrath and punishment of God came to them because they did not acknowledge this husband who loved them and provided everything for them but they used those provisions to give to Baal.
     If they are willing to acknowledge that God is their husband, then God will betroth them as His wife forever!

     Do you know that your relationship with God is the relationship of a wife and her husband?

     Are you willing to acknowledge Him as your Lord, your King and your husband?

     Dear Abba Father,
     Help us to be willing to acknowledge you as our Lord, our King and our husband. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Reflect on these questions:

1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message?

2. What is your next step to be willing to acknowledge God as your Lord, your King and your husband?
