REC 100 Days Prayer Meeting Day 69 - Sure Win Way for 2022

Silence

1.   Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2.   Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.

Praise and Thanksgiving

1.   Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2.   Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
3.   Sing a song to praise God (you are welcome to use "Father, I adore you" which I have been singing every morning for the past 20 years or your own choice to praise God)

Father, I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You.
Jesus, I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You.
Spirit, I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You.

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method https://bishopsilas.blogspot.com/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sins to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

3.  John Stott's daily prayer of Christlikeness (Christopher J.H. Wright, Cultivating the fruit of the Spirit. Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press, 2017, 13)

(Please click this link to see how God used John Stott to change my life:https://bishopsilas.blogspot.com/2009/07/

"Heavenly Father, I pray that this day I may live in your presence and please you more and more.

Lord Jesus, I pray that this day I may take up my cross and follow you.

Holy Spirit, I pray that this day you will fill me with yourself and cause your fruit to ripen in my life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

Time with Abba passages: (Psalm 1:1-6, Genesis 1:1-2:25; Matthew 1:1-2:12, Proverbs 1:1-6)

    Today's key passage:
    Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.

Not so the wicked!
    They are like chaff
    that the wind blows away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

                   Psalm 1:1-6

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

     My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is Sure Win Way for 2022

This morning when I was having Time with Abba I had a very intimate time with Abba. He told me that Psalm  1:1 is a sure win way for life, and that is also a sure win way for 2022, because that is the way of our Triune God! And, that's how Satan wants to try all his best to kick us out of this way of our Triune God!

1.  Way of the Holy Spirit
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked                                                     Psalm  1:1a

      walk by the Spirit
      led by the Spirit
      live by the Spirit
keep in step with the Spirit          Galatians 5:16,18,25

The Lord told me that Satan wants to try all his best to forbid us not being able to walk in step with the Holy Spirit. That's why sometimes when the Holy Spirit reminds us to do something and we do not do, when He warns us not to do something and we intentionally do that, the result is to walk in step with the wicked!

2.   Way of Jesus
Blessed is the one who does not stand in the way that sinners take                                                        Psalm  1:1b

You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so         how can we know the way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one             comes to the Father except through me.
                                                John 14:4-6

The Lord told me that Satan wants to try all his best to forbid us not being able to walk in step with the Holy Spirit so that we cannot be with Jesus and to walk with Jesus, Jesus is the Way! The consequence is that we stand in the way that sinners take!
 3.   Way of Abba Father
Blessed is the one who does not sit in the company of mockers.                                                    Psalm  1:1c

20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
                                            Revelation 3:20-21

The Lord told me that Satan wants to try all his best to forbid us not being able to walk in step with the Holy Spirit so that we cannot be with Jesus and that we cannot sit with Abba in the Heavenly banquet because we sit with the wicked!

This is a big New Year's gift to all of us from Abba Father, I do hope and pray that you have received this gift!

May we pray for our church on the 69th  day of our 100 days Prayer Meeting now:

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for giving us this New Year's gift. Help us and protect us that Satan cannot be able to steal this gift from usIn Jesus name we pray. Amen.

      Reflect on these questions:
     1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch and what have you heard from Jesus now?

      2.  What is your next step to be more closer to Jesus?

      Family Corner:
